Dr. Deborah Armes earned her Doctorate from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, after graduation she began her career in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Over many years working as a Veterinarian she gained extensive knowledge of surgical procedures, cardiology and anesthesia.

Dr. Armes joined Apollo Pet Hospital & Resort in 2017 and quickly became one of our leading surgeons. Her areas of special skills/interests include: Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, Cardiology, and Immune Disorders.

Dr. Armes is a member/affiliate of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, American Heartworm Society and much more. During her free time, Dr. Armes enjoys playing the piano, camping, astrology, and learning new things.
