Are you going out of town and can’t take your dog or cat with you? Let them stay with the caring team at Apollo Pet Hospital & Resort!

Our Facility

Our modern facility is climate-controlled, meaning your pet is warm and cozy in the winter and cool during the summer. Our boarding area is kept immaculately clean for the health and safety of your pet.

Our Staff

Our kennel team loves animals and has been trained to take the best possible care of your furry friend. We have veterinarians on hand at all times to provide supervision for our gentle kennel staff and for occasions when a sudden illness or other medical need occurs with a boarding pet.

Food, Treats, and Meds

Please remember to bring any special diet food or treats your pet may need during their stay. We ask that you bring only enough for your pet during their stay with us at Apollo Pet Hospital & Resort. Our staff monitors the appetite and urination/bowel movements of each boarded pet, and our veterinarians will be alerted if any problems are noted. Patients who are boarding and require medications will receive their meds according to instructions we receive.

Vaccinations

Pets must be current on their vaccine protocol prior to staying with us at Apollo for the health of your pet, as well as our other furry guests. If you are unsure about your pet’s vaccine status or have lost their records, please contact us at least four (4) weeks in advance in the event your dog or cat requires vaccinations.

Our boarding fills up fast, especially during holiday seasons. Please call 256-881-4862 to schedule your pet’s stay with us.

Daycare

There is no need to leave your pet alone during the day while you work, when they can stay with us at Apollo Animal Hospital & Pet Resort! The same state-of-the-art facility you have come to know as our boarding facility is also pleased to offer pet daycare to our working pet parents.

Your dog or cat will be cared for in a clean, comfortable and veterinary-supervised environment. All special food or medication is administered by our caring staff.

Current vaccinations are a requirement in our daycare facility just as they are for boarders who are staying longer with us. At our boarding and daycare facility we strive to provide the best for your pet and ensuring that your pet and those around them are vaccinated is another way we ensure their health and safety.
